Merrick had his first experience at Vacation Bible School this week. However since he was not 3 yet he had to go to the nursery during the actual learning, doing sessions but did enjoy getting to go to worship and is great at doing the actions to his songs he learned :) Warms my heart to see this and puts a huge smile on my face...we are truly blessed!!!
The themed was "Pandamania" and they learned about how special they are to God. Of course he soaked all that up :)
After a week at Bible School, and swimming the lil guy was WORE out! He fell asleep watching Mickey which usually never happens! :)
Merrick has many lil girlfriends. As you remember from a past post Ava came to play for a lil while one morning and Merrick quickly climbed in the chair with her, grabbed 2 stuffed animals, and told her "I wike you Aba, we're fwiends" 
This weekend at the local Kernels baseball game was Allergy Awareness night. Merrick got to go cause there were NO PEANUTS! in the stadium! We had a great time. He got 2 balls, got to see Shucks, and learned how to do cartwheels on the hill we sat by to watch FIREWORKS! He was one tired boy by the time we got home :)
Hopefully some more summer fun this week, until next time...

So thankful for the love of life this child has, that he is growing and developing in all ways normal. I picked up at Target a while back all those fun lil activity books and try to do an "art" project of some sort with him weither its coloring, make playdough creations, or painting. Well this week we painted!! Move over Picasso here comes Merrick!! We also made an owl. My friend Kristin did this project with Hudson and gave me the blog she got it from. LOVE THIS! It's sitting in his toyroom (his request--I wanted to put it where everyone could see it when they came!)
