Did ya'll melt this week?? We started off the heatwave at a police tour. Kudos to Landon for helping us set this up. The kids thought it was great and Merrick enjoyed being "put in jail" and getting shut in the back of the cop car. AWESOME...huh?!?!
He did love to "drive" the cop car too!
We spent majority of our time in doors as 3 outta the 5 reached over 115 degrees. We did a lot of playdough and coloring, but did spend one short afternoon at the pool with Payton. 
Thursday night Lincoln and I got to go see Jason Aldean, Chris Young, and Thompson Square at the Jones County Fair. The concert was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!! We had so much fun, got to spend some much need quality time together and got to catch up with some great friends and ran into more great friends!!! It was a much needed night!
This weekend we also enjoyed our first taste of some great sweet corn....
And you can't forget the toothpick...here ya go Grandpa Harry...just for you! :)
We wrapped the rainy weekend up by spending sometime at the playstation with Grandpa Rick and Grandma Deane!
