I think all of us will look back on a time in our lives and realize that time can be your best friend for the memories made, the good things that life brings with time and then time in the same breath can be your enemy through pain, change, and tears. This weekend we were reminded how time can be the enemy but thankful for the time we were able to spend as a family. TIME...

Earlier this week Lincoln and I had the enjoyment of "hunting lightning bugs" with Merrick. Both of us reflected on the times as kids where we would catch the lightening bugs and put them in bottles. Merrick had a great time catching these lil glow bugs (however I think daddy may had more fun!) Merrick loved his lil bottle of glow bugs in his room as they would light up.

This weekend we spent some much needed time in Lamoni with Grandpa and Grandma Boswell. As you may remember our prayer request for Grandma with her dementia. She is still at home residing and doing as well as can be with this disease. We were able to enjoy our time with them, celebrate her 81st birthday, and made some great memories. The pictures will show you just how many memories we made!

As you can see our time was packed full of many memories, remincing, and taking in the moment.

You may also remember the prayer request asked about the Hummer family and their lil unborn babe. This week Truett Mitchell was born at 6:40 a.m. Thursday, May 26th. He weighed 6lbs and 4.8 ounces, 19 inches long. He was 4 1/2 weeks early, but is healthy and ready for the world! Congrats!!!
