The Taylors: Blessed...

Happy Sunday all! It was a great day, beautiful weather...so much to be thankful for. Our week was filled with activities and fun.

The Stool

We started the week off w/ BUILDING...one of Merrick's favorite past times. He has a hard time reaching the potty at times and thought a stool would be in order for potty purposes as well as teeth brushing. He's getting so big so quickly that its hard for me to hold him in one arm and brush the teeth, ect. Merrick loves to buiwd wike Daddy.

This is the stance that Merrick takes when Daddy says "Im gonna run the saw!"

We decided to let Merrick paint his stool. He had so much fun doing this!!

Dr. Suess

Everyother Tuesday Merrick and I go to the local library for story time. While we are there he picks out some books and a movie. This week was Dr. Suess's 107th birthday so the theme was all about his birthday. The one book they read during story time Merrick picked up on all the hats on Dr. Suess's head. Merrick the next morning gathered all the hats he could find and proclaimed..."Mom I wike Dr. Suess. " There are 6 hats there!

The haircut

Daddy wanted Merrick to have longer hair and so he hasn't had his hair cut since Levi's wedding in October per Daddy's request. But over the past week Merrick has been complaining of his ears to find out his hair was tickling his ears...Time for the cut!!!

There were a few nice days this week and we took full advantage of wagon rides and scooter rides!

This weekend was the 1st in many we had next to nothing planned and took full advantage of ALOT of family time...this is usually what happens...

Merrick also was helping me bake and I found him w/ the cool whip lid and a donut hole...I think he enjoyed his little desert! :)

Do you remember me tell you how we can't keep pants on this kid?? Here's why...5 3/4 inches in 1 yr!! No wonder he went from 24 mo to 3T over night!!!
