For my fellow Iowa readers...how much did you love the weather?? I feel like however, and yes! it's Iowa, that we have had 3 out of the 4 seasons this week!! Winter Monday, Spring for 3 days and today felt like late fall w/ the cold rainy day!! Did you all have a great V-Day?? Merrick got a new remote control car and was very excited except Im not sure who is more excited about playing with it...Merrick or Daddy??

Wed, especially Thurs, and Friday were great days to be outside! Thrusday was 65 degress. We were outside for 2 hrs...
Went for a wagon ride...

"Drive" daddy's truck...

Went for a walk...
Rode or pushed the bikes...

Jumped in puddles...

Fixed the bike...

Playing outside of 3 days straight wears a lil guy out!!!

Saturday we ventured to Mom's for Heath and myself's late birthday supper. Mom always makes our favorites and it was SO YUMMY!! While we were there Merrick got to ride on "Buger (aka my brother Heath's) four wheeler. He thought it was great to drive up to the mailbox and bring us the mail!! You could hear Merrick talking the whole entire time they tooled around the yard!

That night we headed to the movies to watch Yogi Bear. Merrick did pretty good and lasted through the whole movie!!! However a tootsie pop was our saving grace from a few less "whys" during the movie :)Today while getting ready for church Merrick wanted to wear his hat and tie like "Yogi Bear"...HAHA! We ended our busy weekend helping one of our lil buddies celebrate his 4th birthday at the playstation. Merrick had a great time running around and of course the cake part of the party!****Lil Merrick stories****

***The other night while I was reading Merrick his devotions at night there was a picture of kiddos putting money in the offering plate. Merrick asks me what they were doing "with their dowwars". I tell him that you give some of your money to God so he will bless you. To this he responds..."Wike a-choo!?!" Love his simple thinking!!!

***Merrick is a typical 2 yr old and likes to "test the waters" to say the least. Lately his new saying when you've asked him what he wants to do or what is he doing?? while punching his clinched fists in the air like a super hero he responds..."LETS BE NAUGHTY!" Im telling you he's giving us a run for our money!!
