I'll have a buger please...

So Im a day late and a dollar short this week!!! Not to much exciting going on this past week. But our highlight was Lincoln celebrated his 26th birthday! He had to work all day so Merrick and I got to work to make his day extra special when he got home. Lincoln's not a huge birthday cake fan but loves pumpkin rolls so that is what we made.

Merrick was a big help until he decided to play in the water, soaking the counter top and flooding the entire counter top as I was dumping the pumpkin roll onto my newly water soaked towel!!! Made for a little intervention! ;) The kitchen was very clean after we were done baking!!! After the pumpkin roll was completed we got busy with making Daddy's favorite supper--TACOS! completed with refried beans and spanish rice. Both boys like supper!! Merrick was very eager to get those candles on the cake and help blow them out!!! I think Merrick was more excited about Linocln's birthday than Lincoln was!!! Merrick called daddy 3 times at work to sing him happy birthday and sang it probably 3 more times when Lincoln got home!!!

This weekend was pretty low key. We didnt really have ANYTHING planned which was nice and just hung out!!! Flew by the seat of our pants on what to do, what to eat, when to sleep!! You get the picture!!!
This AM Merrick and I ventured to the park cause it is the most AMAZING weather out today. We played for a good hour or so, up and down the rock wall, down the slide, and watching the digger dig the new developement by the park!!


I had to share this picture. We were playing "resturant" at the park and Merrick had just asked me "What mommy want to eat??" My reply "A cheesebuger" And I guess the only part Merrick heard was Buger!!! Cause up went the finger and he smiles and says "Here mommy!" THANKS!

He was SO proud of himself!!!!

Next we decided to walk along the trails that surround the park. Merrick loved running, jumping and skipping rocks!!!




The trail around the park are about 1/2 mile but we walked it a couple times cause Merrick was having so much fun. Towards the end there is a bench and Merrick told me "Mommy sit down, take a break!" Haha! He must have been worn out! Then he asked me to carry him back to the car! Poor guy was tired!!!


We were getting ready to leave and I was gonna take one last picture of Merrick told him to say cheese and I'd be danged but there goes that finger again!!! What a lil nose picker!!! ;) ALL BOY!!!
