Sorry for the lack of up dates...as you will be able to tell by the end of this entry we have been keeping quite busy. Even though last week it RAINED RAINED RAINED we went to the mall and rode the rides, played at the kiddie area, and watched the trains. Merrick loved it so much Monday that when he woke up on Tuesday and saw it was raining he said..."Mommy mall bus!" So back to the mall we went with our quarters! We have been working very hard with Merrick on being gentle and to give nice touches so now when he's in public he will hug random kids. He's such a sweet boy!!!
Mommy and Daddy had a date and got to help Lynston celebrate her birthday. We went to the wildwood saloon with Andrew, Lynston, Amber, and Nathan and had good ole' fashion time. Lincoln was so excited to show his cowboy roots and couldn't decide what belt buckle to wear. He even tried to teach me how to line dance and two step. I'll just say there's some more teaching that needs to be done! :) Merrick loved the cowboy/cowgirl gear and decided to try it on for himself.

This week has been busy so far as well--playdate wise. Merrick and I made the trip to Bussey to visit Leah and Baby Corban! It was great to visit, catch up, and we even got a break from the rain to play in the pool and catch some sun!!! Merrick is still talking about "Baby Orbn!"
Today my good friend Laura (my personal attendant at the wedding-a good friend from Busy Bee-the day care I worked at during college) took our boys to the splash pad. They have really gotten to like playing together. Kael is almost 1 yr older to the day than Merrick! Laura is on maternity leave for the summer so we are soaking up all the time we can with them! I love the picture of them looking at eachother!!!

Since my last post about Father's day was so short I wanted to add some more recent pictures of Merrick and "Incoln!" Yes Merrick has heard me say Lincoln's name and now calls Lincoln "incoln" instead of Daddy. Mommy now calls Lincoln daddy all the time to hopefully break this habit! :) Oh he is too smart!!! Merrick loves wearing Lincoln's bandana! Look at those eyes---metls your heart!
Yes! Lincoln plays soccer when that's what Merrick wants to do!!! :) Enjoy the pics....see ya next week!
