We LOVE Summer!!!

Wow! What a weekend!!! We have been B-U-S-Y! First it started off with our friend Lance coming for a visit. Lance and Lincoln have been best friends and used to rodeo together in high school. Lance is stationed in Florida with the Air Force and will be moving in a few months to North Carolina. Merrick LOVED his buddy Ance! (He never says the "L" with his name!) Lincoln and I were 2nd best when Lance was around. When it came time for bed Merrick wanted Lance to read books!!! Not me or Lincoln!!! What a silly guy!!!

On Sunday we took Merrick fishing. We would catch his fish becuase Merrick couldn't sit still long enough to catch the fish. But then he was all about playing with them and throwing them back. "SHISH BYE BYE WATER!" Splash would go the fish as Merrick would overhand heave them into the water!!! As you can see he was wore out from fishing but wouldnt let the bobber and lure go! :) Since its so DANG hot out now we filled the pool and he is definately a water bug! LOVES to spray usually Jazzi with the hose and sometimes Mommy! He also has learned to "INK" or drink from the hose and has washed our house, the garage, neighbors fence, my car--yes with the windows down, and the entire drive way! We have decided our water bill will be quite large at best this summer but Merrick will have fun!!! We have a busy week planned--carnival with MOPS, a few play dates so stay tuned for pictures!!!
