Updates

Well since last week Merrick has not had anymore choking episodes... thank goodness! However he does have this random cough while eating or drinking. It does not happen every time but enough that I called back to our pediatrician to let her know. She has decided to order a swallow study on him. Sometime next week we will do this. She wants to make sure there is not any further inflammation in the back of his throat/esophagus or he didn't swallow anything that is "stuck" in there. With those results we will see what to do from there. It is possible w/ these results being negative that it is a behavioral thing! If that's the fact I wish he would have picked a lil less "scary" attention getter! Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers next week. We will keep you updated!
