As I take time to reflect on 2009 I stand in awe at how truly blessed we are. We have a little boy who is happy, healthy and WAY smarter than his parents! He amazes us everyday. It seems so crazy to me to look back on pictures a year ago and see how much he has changed! He now says between 15-20 words..Aww Man! being his new latest phrase! He is tries to jump which is new for him and makes his parents laugh! He is an inspiration to us each and everyday. I also feel blessed that both Lincoln and I have jobs in this ever changing economy, and I have a job where I can stay home with Merrick and watch him grow.

Lincoln and I decided to go to Galena,IL overnight with our friends the Hummers and Moores to celebrate New Years. (This was my 1st night away from Merrick!) My mom came and had her only lil New Years celebration with Merrick that night! Galena was a great mini vacation and was very relaxing for both Lincoln and myself. Enjoy the pictures. Our 2010 is off to a great start as we hope yours is as well. We pray for a blessed 2010 as 2009 was!
