Christmas 2009

Mommy and Merrick

I get the same look from Lincoln! :)

We had a a nice Christmas together. Last Saturday and Sunday we celebrated with my mom and brother at our house. We had a great time together. I had to work Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and the day after Christmas this year so Christmas Eve our family celebrated our Christmas. Christmas day we braved the roads and headed to Oskaloosa to celebrate with the Taylors. Thank goodness the roads were not as bad as being predicted and made a safe travel home as well as there. (Thanks Lincoln for being such a great daddy and husband and an AWESOME driver!) I did volunteer Lincoln to drive as he is much calmer than I am and is out in these conditions much more often then myself. He did GREAT! Saturday evening my dad, Deane and my brother came to our house and Sunday we celebrated Christmas with them and had a very enjoyable time as well!
Since Christmas we have lost about 200 square feet of our house it feels like as Merrick made out quite well! We "reorganized" the toyroom and put some toys in his toybox to take downstairs when the basement is finished! (pictures to come!)

Merrick loved to open presents! He would take the present, sit down near Lincoln or myself and wrip open the gift. He was very blessed this year in his abundance of gifts and his biggest gift WILL be a new wooden swingset when the weather is nicer to play outside!

We hope you all had a great Christmas as well and enjoyed time with Family and Friends!
