Lil Steelers Fan

Hello All!

We hope that you are all staying warm with this wonderful winter we are experiencing. Lincoln once again has been putting long hours in plowing, so when he is home and not catching up on sleep we cherish the time we get to spend together.

Merrick has been doing well. He has adjusted to staying with Lynston all day very nicely (but I didnt expect it anyother way--he loves his Aunt Lynston) He has gotten down a pretty good routine for a 10 wk old. His new trick is wanting to sleep on his tummy--and since the SIDS cases have been so frequent in the Cedar Rapids area we have had to trick our Mr. Man. We start out letting him sleep on his tummy but once he has fallen tight asleep (while I watch over him every min listening to him breath) I flip him on his back and he has been staying asleep which works nicely for the all of us. Lately when he wakes up in the morning he does not cry but just talks in the crib. When I walk in there to get him and he sees me I get a HUGE good morning smile which starts the day off to a wonderful start.

Merricks newest and favorite activity is watching the Christmas tree. He will tell that tree stories all day long--its the cutest thing. His eyes get so big when he sees the lights and then a huge smile comes across his face!

We are looking forward to the holidays with family and friends. We hope that you all have safe travels and a blessed holiday with loved ones.
