Hello All!
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and will have a blessed New Years. Our Christmas was wonderful. We were blessed by the abundance of gifts which we are thankful for. (As we realized how much smaller our house became after bringing the presents home)Merrick had a wonderful time taking it all in--especially those Christmas lights. It was great to spend the day together. We enjoyed family get togethers and will be going to celebrate Christmas with my dad this weekend since our plans quickly changed with the freezing rain---Oh the joys of Iowa Winters!

Our lil man is growing up so fast! His head control is getting better each day...and he smiles at everything. (His smiling face just melts my heart. ) I caught Lincoln telling Merrick the other day..."If you smile at the girls that way you'll be able to have every girl you want!" Those talks have already begun. He has now become tickilish and laughs when you tickle him. He also loves to be read to and will coo at the pages while you read. He is quite a talker. (Dad says he gets that from Mom)
The picture posted is of Merrick in his Christmas gear...the onesie says "Great gifts come in small packages" And his lil slippers said Baby's first Christmas! He is the best Christmas gift! And such a blessing...
