Summer activities have started full swing at our house. We have had many park and water days. Splash pads are open and I think we've been there almost everyday this week! We've definately got our tans going on! :)

Merrick's newest thing is to be a baseball player. He has the pants and a cubs shirt. We spend many hours playing catch and he loves to go to the ball diamonds and run the bases. He's quite a star!

This weekend we spent the weekend on a lil vacation before the baby comes. The boys as you all know are big in their 4 wheelers and want to start racing in the hare scramble races. These are races that are in the timber and range anywhere from a 30 mins race (the lil guys race) to 2 hour races (this would be the class Lincoln would race in). There was a hare scramble in Fort Dodge this weekend so we made a weekend out of it and stayed in a hotel, went swimming, ate pizza poolside, and watched the races. Merrick had a blast swimming and LOVED staying at the hotel!

However he was NOT excited that the races started at 7:30 am and we were up and there by 7! As you can see he was slightly tired!

We got home later last night and spent today relaxing...splash pad, park, of course naps, and getting some needed projects done around the house.

Baby update: I am now 31 wks along so we started an offical "count down" for Merrick! He has been asking over and over when his baby brother will get to come out! Hopefully this will help him answer that question. I feel good just hot and can tell Im getting towards the end, but before we know it we will be a family of 4!
