Fall Bucket List...

Hello...how many of you are enjoying this AWESOME fall weather we have been having. We are loving all the outside time we are getting, however I'm not gonna lie I am very excited about the slightly cooler temps coming through. But warmer temps or not we are enjoying fall to the fullest! How many have heard or been on pintrest?? Its the new facebook really. Pintrest is an online pin board and definately gets my creative side going. I found this "fall bucket list" check off list and thought it was such a neat idea. So here are our activity list over the next month. Can't wait.
So this weekend we started on the bucket list...I'm sure some of these we will do a couple of times but none the less it will be fun one or two times!

Carve A Pumpkin
We had visited a pumpkin patch over Merrick's birthday and got a tiny lil white pumpkin. He has been asking to carve it for quite sometime so Saturday night we did just as he had asked. He didn't like the whole "guts" thing but found it fun to do the carving. I'm sure before Halloween we will be doing another carving activity or painting one maybe??
Pumpkin Patch/Pony Rides

Also this weekend some of our good friends were giving pony rides at a lil pumpkin patch just outside of Marion. Merrick enjoyed the pony rides and going out to the patch to pick out a pumpkin.

Apple Picking

Merrick and I met up with our friends Amy, Payton, and Parker at a local apple orchard and picked some apples and let the boys run. They had a great time looking for apples, bugs, pumpkins...you know boy things! It's so much fun to watch boys be boys...dirty, bugs, the belly laughs as they roll around on the grass....B.L.E.S.S.E.D!
Picnic

After the apple orchard today we went to a local park for some playtime, picnic and of course a taste of these awesome apples!
We've had a great start to our fall. And now that we have 6lbs of apples I foresee some carmeled apples, pies, breads, etc.

Prayer request...

As you all know about Merrick's peanut/treenut allergy and now that he is 3. We go to the Peditrician Friday for his well child check and will also talk about further testing for the allergy since he is over age 3 now. We were hoping that he may have possibly outgrown it but again this weekend were reminded that it may not be decreased. Long story short we took him to a resturant that he has eaten at before, and a place we were told had no nuts...but after his 1st plate was gone I went to go get him more from the buffett and on my way back to the table noticed walnuts on a dish. Upon getting back to the table he started telling me that "I dont feel good, mommy my throat hurts". Instant panic swept over me! Needless to say our breakfast trip was cut a lil short. So I am praying this week for some answers on how we can make this allergy less for him. Please keep us in your prayers this week!!!

Have a great week! We can't wait to share our fall festivities next week!
