Merry Christmas!!!

Merry Christmas!!! I hope you all had a wonderful time! Christmas was good as always and we again are reminded how blessed we truly are! We started the weekend out by attending our candle lit service at church. Merrick loved the service. He got to see Mary, Baby Jesus and Joseph with a big stick or "dick" as Merrick yelled through the church. Good thing it was dark in the church so everyone could not see how red Lincoln and I turned! ;) But here's the precious part. We all had lit the candles and they started to sing Silent Night. Merrick wanted to hold the candle and when he did he started singing with them. It was so precious I got tears in my eyes! I wish I could have captured the moment and froze time. His innocent lil voice singing "Siwent Night, Howy Night" over and over through the whole song melted my heart!!! We came home in the blizzard and opended our (the 3 of us) gifts.

Merrick's big gift was a trike that looks like a 4-wheeler! He LOVED it and is riding every chance he can down the hallway and back. How long til spring/summer??

Christmas morning Santa visted and brought Merrick what he asked for a nerf gun and a blue sleeping bag with a pirate ship! He was pretty excited :)

Then it was off to Gdpa Dan and Gdma Tami's for Christmas.

Christmas night we headed to my mom's for supper. She made a birthday cake for Jesus which Merrick was VERY excited about because we had waited all this time and had all these talks about a birthday party for Jesus and we finally got to that part!

The next day we were off to the Taylor side reunion/Christmas gathering. They rented a cabin this year which was GREAT! So much room and the kids could run! It was a good time and the cabin was BEAUTIFUL!

Not much new going on here this week just "re-organizing the house" and catching up from Christmas. Hope you all had a blessed time w/ friends and family!!! Next time we'll chat it will be 2011!
