B-I-G weekend!

We had a great  big weekend, and are still exhausted from it but so many good memories were made! We started the weekend off with the Color Me Rad run in Des Moines with some great friends. Merrick completed the whole 5k! He did awesome!

It was so much fun!!! Merrick LOVED it!

Maddox even got to watch :)

 

 

Sunday was the boys' last race...we are still waiting for overall results but Merrick had a goal of finishing all his races and getting a medal at each one and HE DID! Good job buddy!!!!

Monday we met some of Merrick's favorite buddies at the park for a little birthday party.

 

 

 

Ninja turtle birthday party complete with pizza and a REAL LIVE TURTLE! One of our super cool mom's found this turtle in the grass so Merrick also got to take home a turtle on his ninja turtle party! Meet Mr. Snappy!

Here's a pic of some of his buddies that braved to be close to the turtle!

Maddox is not a fan so he would NOT look at the camera and wanted to keep his eyes on Mr. Snappy at all times.
