January almost gone...Febuary has only 28 days...I can see spring in our future!!

This week we had a busy week and the weather felt like a heat wave compared to last week so this blog may be kinda long!! ;)

PLAYDATE

Wednesday Merrick and I met Leah, Bec, Chase, Corban, and Kiptyn for a playdate at the Coralville mall! We had a great time. The boys ran and ran and crawled all over burning some long winter energy off! They enjoyed lunch at the mall, a carosel ride and by that time they were beat!!!

As you can see by this picture they were tired and in need of naps! It was great to see everyone and catch up...Merrick asks when he gets to play with Chase again?? I think he had a good time!

SNOW FUN

Friday Daddy got off work early and it was 34 degrees out! We headed for the sledding hills at one of the local schools...

The hills were so packed down that it was slick enough to slide the entire way down on your bum! Which Merrick thought was much more fun than the sled!
As you can see not thrilled with the sled..
Daddy found a ramp and tried it out. He told me it was fun, didnt hurt, yada yada yada!

Why do I listen to him...my rump still hurts and has a mark to show that it hurts :{
After the "thaw" Friday, the snow was perfect packing snow for a snowman on Saturday.
Also this weekend Lincoln and I had dinner with some friends. It was good to catch up with them.
