Today Lincoln came home early due to the light rain we received last night. So it was FAMILY DAY! Oh how I love these!!! We started off by going to get seeds for the garden. Initially we were only going to do tomatos, radishes, onions, zucchini, and green beans, BUT as we (Lincoln and I) were picking up the seeds the lil man handed us his choices...sweet corn and Jack-O-Latern pumpkins! Of course we bought AND planted these seeds. 
Merrick loved helping digging up the dirt and covering the seeds! But if you haven't guessed already his favorite part was watering the seeds. He became very upset with us when we limited his water usage to the garden.

He became very upset with us when we limited his water usage to the garden. Later tonight we went for a bike ride, finished by a stop at Parlor City (the ice cream shop) just down the road from us!
We let Merrick eat his cone ALL by himself in his bike cart! He still had the cone part when he got home and shared with Jazzi when we got home! YUCK! I know but YOU take the cone away from him! He ended up finishing his cone in the tub as it was getting EVERYWHERE! Enjoy the pics of our family day
