Hello all

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. We did have a pretty good time. Wednesday night Merrick came down with a fever and the fever lasted until Friday night ranging anywhere from 101-104. Needless to say he was MISERABLE! Sunday morning ended up breaking out in a rash from head to toe leading us to the conclusion from the high fever to the timing of the rash and the looks of the rash that he had/has roseolla. Which is a very common virus in kiddos from 6mo-2yrs. I guess thats what we get a nasty virus when the lil man licked the grocery cart at HyVee! YUCK! I guess it could have been worse--a WALMART shopping cart (so the doctor pointed out to me)! Anyways Saturday he was feeling much better and was fever free so we went ahead with our weekend plans and took him to the state fair! He loved the animals, the cowbell, and even tried some fair food--chicken strips and a VERY LARGE pretzel. He loved it! Enjoy the pictures and have a great week!
