I feel like a lot has happened in the past few weeks since I last posted. So bear with me as I play catch up. We had another race last weekend that was too muddy for good results. Merrick place 4/5 and Linc had tech issues.

Monday a nasty storm hit Cedar Rapids and unfortunately our side of town got hit the worst. We had many large branches, a smaller tree, and POWER LINES down. We were without power from Monday til late Tuesday but then intermittent power til Thursday. With our house being for sale we are very happy that no damage to the house was done and very thankful everyone was safe. 
We also said "see ya later" to some good friends. Because of a job change they are moving to the Chicago area. We are all sad to see them go cause as you know its hard to let forever friends go! Here are a few pictures of the kid playing at the park this week. They start their journey tomorrow so please pray for them!
That brings us to today! We celebrated the 4th very laid back style. Parades, grilling, and some family time. This week was exhausting which was evident in the 3hr naps we all took today.
Tomorrow will be a yard clean up day and some family time. More pictures to come!
