I haven't blogged much about Mr. Maddox and his ears, but long story short he's had 4 too many infections over a very short period. (3 in less than 90 days to be exact). He will just get off his antibiotic and we have an ear recheck that checks out good, then not 5 days later he has another ear infections. So after many sleepless nights, lots of cuddles, and many doc visits and antibiotics we have a date set for tubes! We saw the ENT doctor today and even being on antibiotics for 6 days he still has mucous type fluid still on his ears :( Maddox is now taking allergy meds to help with decreasing drainage so we can keep him healthy to have the tubes placed. Please pray that we can keep him healthy for surgery! We could all use a good nights sleep! :) The surgery takes 2 mins, is out patient, and have heard these tubes gives pretty much instant relief! But even through all his pain he still has that sweet smile...Love you bug!
