Birthday Celebration #1

Merrick is one lucky lil guy. We decided instead of having one HUGE party for his birthday to let the grandparents do something fun with him for his birthday and then he could have a friends party. This weekend was a little get together with Grandpa Rick and Grandma Denae. He had asked for roller skates for his birthday so that's what he got and a chance to try them out at the roller skating rink.

We even got brithday cupcakes at the skating rink. (And he really was excited about the cupcakes even if the picture doesn't show that!)

 

I'd say his brithday month is off to a good start.
