I haven't had much of a chance to sit and blog lately. Its been so nice outside and many projects are getting crossed off the list before baby gets here and Lincoln's busy time at work starts. 2 wks ago it felt like summer out--upper 70, low 80's. Merrick thought busting out the swim trunks would be fantastic and made his own lil beach right there in the sandbox. He was a mess but loved every minute of it! Merrick also got a big boy bike with training wheels and has put many hours and miles on it since we brought it home. His knees show how determined he was to ride and now he's a pro!
Last week we hit the St. Patrick's day parade and Merrick made sure everyone had green on or he'd pinch them! The weather was great, Merrick got some candy, it was a great day!
The other day Lincoln stopped at the house to grab something between jobs. Merrick was excited to see daddy but busted outta the door. By the time I got out of the house I asked Lincoln where Merrick had gone...this is where we found him...
I think Daddy's gonna be taking someone to work with him when he's old enough ;)

Many of you know and many of you may not but there is a little boy TJ from our home town who was diagnoised with brain cancer about 2 months ago. You can read about his story here:

I'm just warning you this is a heart wrenching story, grab a box of tissues. This family's amazing faith is undescribable. Please add this family to your prayer list as they do have a tough road ahead of them.

Last night they had a fundraiser for TJ and his family...a fundraiser I am still in awe of! It's great to be from a community that pulls together like they did last night to show support and love. We were very happy to have been apart of it. Tyler Sash from the NY Giants was there signing autographs as a donation for TJ and his family. Merrick thought it was pretty cool that he signed his football. We may have a divided house--Steelers vs Tyler Sash (Merrick says he likes the "Tyler Sash team")
