C-E-L-B-R-A-T-E

Hello all!! We hope your week/weekend was as rewarding as ours! We spent most of the week "laying low" and catching up on life, but the weekend was as packed as we could make it, but enjoyed every minute of celebrating another year old, an upcoming wedding, and a life and miracle!!! We started off by celebrating my dad's 51st birthday. As you all know candles and birthday cake are right up Merrick's alley! He was very obliged to help blow out the candles!
Saturday Lincoln and I were able to help good friends from Colorado (Lincoln's college roommate) celebrate their up coming marriage. They are getting married in August in Colorado--road trip for mommy and daddy!! We are very excited!!
We headed back yesterday afternoon to start our celebration of life!! As many of you remember our friends, the Eincks, who we asked all of you for your prayers as their baby was born with a maternal bleed and is truly our miracle baby, we walked in his honor at the March of Dimes walk! We started off with a pre March of Dimes supper and of course the kids had a ball!!
Thanks Grandpa Ed (Or "Fred" as Merrick called him) for making it EXTRA fun with ring-a-round-the-rosie ending with a DOG PILE!!!! This AM was the big walk. A little breezy and slightly chilly but we had a great time for such an amazing cause. We love you Hudson Landon. GO TEAM HUDSON LANDON!!!! Here's a lil blurb from KCRG...More Than One Thousand Walk In March For Babies http://www.kcrg.com/

Last but not least we had one more birthday to celebrate...JAZZI! She turned 5 today and Merrick wanted to make sure she got a present, birthday cake, and a birthday hat. Like I said earlier the candles, birthday cake, ect is right up his alley!!!
As you can see we had a crazy busy weekend but very rewarding all the round away. We are truly blessed!!!

I do have one prayer request before I let you all go. As you remeber a week or so ago I had asked for prayers for our friends Andrew and Lynston Hummer as she was having some premature labor and complications with her pregnancy. More complications came up this week as her amniotic fluid continued to decrease over the past week dramatically. The doctors continue to watch her closely. Please pray God will hold that baby close and protect both Lynston and baby boy Hummer. She is only 32 wks along now. As we know from our March of Dimes walk this weekend God does work miracles. Thank you for lifting the family in prayers!!

Have a great week and we'll chat next week. XOXO
